Ruben Onsu Explains Why He Didn't Reply to Sarwendah's Message About Moving House

Ruben Onsu speaks out regarding Sarwendah's statement claiming that her message about moving house did not receive a reply. According to Ruben, this happened because he has changed his phone number.

Ruben stated that his children are aware of the number change. Therefore, he believes Sarwendah should be able to find out his new number through the children if she really wants to contact him.

"I changed my number, and the kids know too. So maybe if she calls the kids, she would also have their number, right? I have my phone, so she should be able to check there as well," said Ruben Onsu when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (22/7/2026).

In addition to communicating through the children, Ruben mentioned that communication can also be done through each party's legal counsel. According to him, this method can be used if there is something important that needs to be conveyed.

"Actually, if there is something that needs to be conveyed through the lawyer, that can be done too, right?" Ruben continued.

When asked if he knew the location of the new house now occupied by Sarwendah and their children, Ruben chose not to provide further answers. He only hopes that the chosen residence is the best for the family.

"I am sure it is the best place," he said.

Previously, Sarwendah admitted that she had sent her new home address to Ruben. She stated that this was done because she felt Ruben, as the father of their children, had the right to know where their child lives.

However, Sarwendah mentioned that the message she sent did not receive a response. Nevertheless, she emphasized that she never blocked Ruben from meeting their children.

"I have checked, you know, I have also given the address, of course, wherever it is, he is the father of the children. So I have never closed off where the children want to meet, I always ask again how the father is so we can meet. But since there has been no response, I also can't do anything," Sarwendah concluded.
