Teddy Officially Becomes the Heir of Lina Jubaedah, Here’s Sule’s Response

Kapanlagi.com - Sule spoke up after the Bandung Religious High Court (PTA) granted Teddy Pardiyana's appeal regarding the heir status of the late Lina Jubaedah. The appellate decision also overturned the previous decision of the Bandung Religious Court which had rejected Teddy's request.

When asked for his response, Sule emphasized that he no longer had authority over the inheritance matters of his former wife. "Ah, you should ask Iky (Rizky Febian) about that. Because I no longer have any rights, I no longer have any rights to that inheritance," Sule said when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (27/7/2026).

With this appellate decision, Teddy is declared legitimate as one of the heirs of Lina Jubaedah. On the other hand, Sule's family still has the opportunity to pursue further legal action in the form of cassation.

1. Status of Heir Changes at the Appeal Level

The Bandung PTA granted the appeal filed by Teddy Pardiyana regarding the inheritance case of the late Lina Jubaedah. This ruling overturns the previous rejection made by the Bandung Religious Court against Teddy's application.

As a consequence of this ruling, Teddy is now declared valid as one of the heirs of Lina Jubaedah. This change in legal status places Teddy among those entitled to the estate of the deceased.

However, the avenue for legal recourse is not closed. The Sule family can still file a cassation as a follow-up step after the ruling at the appeal level.

2. Further Decision Handed Over by Sule to Rizky Febian

When asked about the next steps, including the possibility of cassation, Sule stated that all decisions lie with Rizky Febian.

"So whether to file a cassation or not is up to Iky. Reporting the issue of the missing assets is Iky's concern. So I am still communicating with the lawyer. Whether to file for cassation or not, that's up to Iky," said Sule.

He emphasized that legal matters related to the inheritance and the report of the assets that were mentioned as missing will be decided by his son together with the legal counsel. Sule reiterated this to avoid any misunderstanding regarding his role in this matter.

3. Lawyer Becomes a Reference, Father-Child Communication Continues

Sule stated that the handling of the case is in the hands of the legal team. He admitted that he does not understand the details of the legal realm, so he chose to refer all processes to a lawyer.

"Yes, that's directly to the lawyer. You see, that's a legal issue. I also don't understand about the law, right? So, to the lawyer. Just call the lawyer and that's it. Right?" Sule explained.

Even though the final decision is left to Rizky Febian and his legal counsel, communication between father and child continues. “There is communication. What does this mean? It means... whatever Iky wants, just discuss it with the lawyer. Okay? Thank you. Terima kasih,” Sule concluded.
