Move It Fest 2022 Held for the First Time in Gorontalo, Receives Extraordinary Response from the Audience

Kapanlagi.com - After a long time without major events, on Saturday (4/6) Gorontalo City was once again stirred up by the presence of Move It Fest 2022. This is the first time Gorontalo has been chosen as the host city for the event initiated by IDE Timur.

The program, created to appreciate the works of musicians from Eastern Indonesia, was divided into 2 sessions, namely workshops and music performances. Gorontalo residents were seen very enthusiastic in welcoming Move It Fest 2022. This was proven by the traffic jam on the roads leading to Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) where the Move It Fest 2022 music performance was held.

Since the afternoon, the courtyard of the Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) Rectorate had already been filled. Thousands of people crowded and jostled to be the first in front of the stage. IDE Timur did indeed make a fairly large stage for this music event. Not only that, the excellent lighting and sound system added to the grandeur of the event.

1. Presenting Various Music Genres

The free music event was filled by a number of musicians from various music genres such as Ecko Show, Vicky Salamor, Toton Caribo, Wizz Baker, and Justry Aldrin.

The event ran in an orderly and safe manner. Overall, the music event was quite lively. Even UNG Rector, Eduart Wolok, as the host of the event, participated in a duet with Vicky Salamor.

2. Justy Aldrin's First Performance in Gorontalo

Justy Aldrin, one of the performers at the Move It Fest 2022 music event, said that at first he felt nervous seeing thousands of people crowding the courtyard of the Gorontalo State University (UNG) Rectorate. This was Justy's first time performing and setting foot in Gorontalo. The singer of the song Masih Sendiri was surprised by the welcome the people of Gorontalo gave him.

"But seeing the extraordinary enthusiasm of the audience made me very happy and touched. The enthusiasm of the people of Gorontalo for music, especially eastern music, is extraordinary. It is proven that they know all the songs of the talents who were present at the event. Just one word I want to say, if the Move It Fest event was brutal! Thank you to IDE Timur and the people of Gorontalo," exclaimed Justy.

Not only a music performance, Move It Fest 2022 also held a workshop event during the day. The event was held at Domestique, Gorontalo and was held in private. The aim was nothing else but to allow creators from Eastern Indonesia to exchange ideas.

There were five speakers at the event; Theo Broma Anggara as Director of TIMELESS e-Publisher, Miftah Faridh Oktafani as CEO & Founder of Sosialoka, Gustiranda Evan Mopili as CEO & Founder of IDE, Ecko Show as CEO of IDE Timur, and Muara Parlindungan Sipahutar as Music Content Partnership Manager of YouTube Indonesia.
