Collaboration with Slayer, Lawless Jakarta's Dream Finally Comes True

Kapanlagi.com - There is good news from one of the Indonesian brands, Lawless Jakarta, who collaborated with the legendary California metal band, Slayer. From this collaboration, both parties produced several exclusive merchandise articles released by Lawless.

Sammy Bramantyo, one of the owners of Lawless Jakarta, explained that it took them quite a long time to prepare for the collaboration with Slayer. After a lengthy discussion process with Slayer's merchandising representatives, the collaboration was finally released to the public in June 2022.

"Initially, it was a nice try in the sense that we tried to reach out to Slayer through their licensing representatives. We tried to invite them to collaborate on Lawless merchandise with Slayer," said Sammy Bramantyo at the Lawless Jakarta office in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Monday (6/6/2022).

1. Various Merchandise Articles

Then, Sammy Bramantyo revealed that Lawless Jakarta's collaboration with Slayer resulted in 12 limited edition items, consisting of t-shirts, jackets, and pants. Each item was produced in a limited quantity.

"The process itself, maybe we first contacted them (Slayer's license) in April 2021 until now in June, which means one year and two months, the process for everything. Finally, after one year and two months, the merchandise was released," added Sammy.

2. A Dream Collaboration

In the same occasion, Arian Arifin, who is also the owner of Lawless Jakarta, stated that collaborating with Slayer was one of the dreams that finally came true for the brand that was established in 2011.

This is because Slayer is one of the most influential bands for Lawless Jakarta. It is evident that Slayer's influence is so strong in Lawless Jakarta's approach to merchandise production and copywriting.

"For the X Slayer items, we will release them with 12 items, divided into 2 batches, 6 items per batch," explained Sammy Bramantyo.

3. Limited Collection

This limited edition collaboration collection will feature long and short sleeve t-shirts, outerwear, shorts, and jogger pants and will be available starting June 6, 2022 at Lawless Jakarta's offline store, www.lawlessjakarta.com, and Tokopedia.com.
