Indah Kurnia Hands Over the Case of Her Son's Assault, Justin Frederik, to the Authorities

Kapanlagi.com - Member of the Indonesian Parliament from the PDIP Faction, Indah Kurnia, has spoken out about the assault on her son, Justin Frederick. The incident was carried out by the son of the leader of Pemuda Bravo 5 on Gatot Subroto Road.

When met in the VIP room of the Indonesian Parliament building in Jakarta on Monday (6/6), Indah handed over the legal process against the perpetrator of her son's assault to the police. She also emphasized that this was her action as a mother without any relation to her own figure.

"I am not here as a member of the Indonesian Parliament from the PDIP Faction, but I am here as a mother of Justin who has been subjected to assault according to the chronology that has been reported by the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Police some time ago," said Indah.

As a mother, Indah was certainly shocked and did not know what to do when she first heard the news about her son. However, she admitted to surrendering the legal process to the police.

"This is an incident that shocked us, we don't know what to do frankly. It turns out that this has attracted attention from the entire Indonesian community," she said.

"They are all concerned about us, giving attention and then praying so that Justin can recover well both physically and psychologically, especially. Then they all hope that the perpetrator will be truly processed according to the applicable law in this republic and currently we are handing everything over to the Metro Police to be processed correctly in accordance with the applicable legal corridor," she continued.

2. Only Their Child Became a Victim

Furthermore, Indah hopes that such an incident will not happen to anyone else. For her, it is enough that her child has experienced this and similar incidents should not happen again.

"Of course, with the hope that such an incident will not happen again, where a citizen can arbitrarily oppress other citizens who are considered weaker. I hope that with this incident, even though it is my child who became the victim, I hope that there will be no more Justin Justins in the future," she concluded.
