Video of Verlita Evelyn's Sister Being Attacked Goes Viral, Here's the Complete Chronology

Kapanlagi.com - Verlita Evelyn's younger sister, Justin Frederick, was reportedly the victim of a beating on the Gatot Subroto toll road on Saturday (4/6). The Jakarta Metropolitan Police have released a statement and provided a complete chronology of the case.

Prior to the incident, Verlita Evelyn's sister was driving on the toll road to attend their grandmother's birthday party. The perpetrators' car was speeding in the left lane when it suddenly swerved and hit Verlita Evelyn's sister's car.

"The chronology begins on Saturday, June 4th, 2922, at 12 noon. The victim left her boyfriend's house, Justin Adelia, to go to Sunter to attend her grandmother's birthday party in a black Mercedes Benz," said Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan during a press conference at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Monday (6/6).

"She then entered the Pancoran toll gate towards Cawang in the driving lane, and then crossed the left lane at high speed. The gray Nissan X-Trail with license plate number B 1146 RFH tried to change lanes in a rather aggressive manner according to the investigation, resulting in the victim's car being hit," he continued.

1. Disturbance Occurs

After hitting the victim, the perpetrator's car stopped a hundred meters in front of the victim. At first, there was a quarrel between them.

"Then, because he felt hit for about 100 meters, the Nissan driver stopped in front of the victim. There was a quarrel here and the victim showed the part of the car that was hit," he said.

After that, the perpetrator committed violence against the victim until it went viral on social media. In this case, the perpetrator faces a maximum sentence of 9 years in prison.

"Without any hesitation, the perpetrator assaulted the victim like in the viral video. The perpetrator is charged under Article 351 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of 9 years in prison," he concluded.
