Now, at the end of 2020, Danial is introducing his latest single titled Ku Tak Rela (I'm Not Willing) composed by Hadi Rumnan. Just 8 days after its release, the single has skyrocketed to become the number 1 trending on YouTube Malaysia.

Interestingly, this song tells the story of Danial's painful love in the past. He once had a lover who suddenly left him to marry someone else.

"This song is very personal to me, as it tells my life story. I have experienced heartbreak because my lover married someone else. And I found out about it at the last moment," recalls Danial.

2. Viral Without the Singer's Knowledge

The song Ku Tak Rela was actually composed by Hadi for Danial since 2018. However, at that time, they did not record it officially.

Then, on one occasion, Danial casually sang the song in front of his friends. Unexpectedly, one of his friends secretly recorded it and uploaded the video on social media, causing it to go viral.

"At that time, I was hanging out with friends and I sang this song. Apparently, one of my friends secretly recorded me without my knowledge, and then he posted it on Twitter. A week later, it suddenly went viral on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. I just let the song be like that, viral until mid-2019. Until finally, this song became the soundtrack of a TV drama program in Malaysia and made people wonder who the singer of this song actually is. I thought it was time to come out and announce that the viral song Ku Tak Rela is mine," concludes Danial.

The music video for Ku Tak Rela has also been released on YouTube since December 2, 2020, and has received a positive response. Many were surprised that the song and the voice belong to Danial, who is known as a comedian. As of now, the video has garnered millions of views.
