Not Heard of News for a Long Time, This Year Jamrud Band Will Release a New Album and Hold a Special 25-Year Concert

Kapanlagi.com - The band group Jamrud has just finished their latest album and it is planned to be released soon. Jamrud's latest album was made to commemorate the band's 25 years in the Indonesian music industry.

Under the management of SRN Entertainment, the new album by Jamrud is already completed. It's just a matter of waiting for the release schedule.

"So, we are preparing for Jamrud's 25th anniversary album. InsyaAllah, this November, Jamrud's 25-year album will be released," said Krisyanto, Jamrud's vocalist, when met in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, not long ago.

1. All New Songs, No Remakes

However, Azis Mangasi Siagan, the guitarist, refused to reveal their latest album because it signifies Jamrud's comeback. He also mentioned that Jamrud has not gone anywhere.

"It's not a comeback, we haven't gone anywhere, why would it be a comeback? We never felt stuck, except for Covid. Before that, we still had mobile concerts. As for this album (promotion), we leave it to SRN," said Azis Jamrud.

In this album, there are about ten tracks that depict social portraits, all prepared with completely new material without any remakes of old songs. Meanwhile, the production process began in early 2021 to catch the momentum of 25 years, and there are no song remakes in Jamrud's latest album.

"I can't reveal it yet. But there are 10 songs, all new materials. No remakes," Krisyanto concluded.

In addition to the album, Jamrud is ready to perform a special live concert for their 25-year career. Of course, considering the current pandemic situation, the concert will implement strict health protocols.
