After 16 years apart and filled with heated conflicts between brothers, Oasis finally returns to the stage they left long ago. The Manchester-based band kicked off their reunion tour titled Oasis Live '25 with a grand performance in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4, 2025.

Tens of thousands of fans filled the Principality Stadium to witness this historic moment, the first performance of Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher on the same stage since their split in 2009.

After more than a decade of silence and conflict, Oasis finally returned to the same stage. The legendary band from Manchester officially opened their reunion concert titled Oasis Live '25 on July 4, 2025, at Principality Stadium, Cardiff, Wales. The concert marked the return of Liam and Noel Gallagher after last performing together in 2009, before a major backstage argument forced Noel to leave the band and disband Oasis.

The enthusiasm of the fans was extraordinary. As many as 74 thousand spectators filled the stadium on the opening night. The opening song "Hello" was immediately met with resounding cheers. For almost two hours, Oasis performed 24 songs, including a series of hits such as "Supersonic," "Live Forever," "Champagne Supernova," as well as "Don't Look Back in Anger" and "Wonderwall."

Behind the grandeur of the stage, the relationship between Liam and Noel is still far from harmonious. During the opening concert in Cardiff, the two hardly spoke to each other on stage. Nevertheless, they both remained professional. At the end of the concert, they were seen sharing a brief hug during the encore, which the audience considered a small symbol of peace after more than 15 years of open conflict.

The euphoria of the audience was palpable. Media outlets like AP News, Pitchfork, and Los40 described the concert atmosphere as magical and emotional. Audience members from various countries joined in the songs that shaped the Britpop generation of the '90s. Cheers, mass singing, and even tears of joy could be heard throughout the night. The moment 'Live Forever' was even dedicated as a tribute to football player Diogo Jota, reinforcing the personal aspect of this concert.

Concert tickets, especially for the schedule in England and Ireland, sold out in minutes. Even though concert merchandise was referred to as "overpriced" by some fans, it did not dampen their enthusiasm to come and see their favorite band reunite in person.

This reunion may not be permanent, but Oasis's first concert in Cardiff has already made its own history. This is not just a reunion, but a night that brings back the collective memories of a generation of world music. And although Liam and Noel are still keeping their distance, thousands of fans went home with big smiles, because for that one night, Oasis was whole again.
