Often Called the King of FTV Soundtracks, Lyla Band Considers It as a Form of Appreciation

Lyla Band is one of the largest contributors of FTV soundtracks. They are often referred to as the king of FTV soundtracks by the audience or netizens. Recently, Dharma, the keyboardist of Lyla, admitted that many of their songs are used for FTV soundtracks when met in the Tebet area.

"There are about a dozen of our songs that have been used as FTV soundtracks until now," said Dharma, the keyboardist of Lyla, in the Tebet area, South Jakarta.

Some of the songs that often appear in FTV include, Lebih Dari Bintang, Ga Romantis, Jantung Hati, Mantan Kekasih, Kamu Cantik Kamu Baik, Magic, Percayakan, Dan Lagi, and so on.

1. Appreciation Form

Meanwhile, Lyla's guitarist, Fare, also responded to the nickname of the king of soundtracks for Lyla. According to him, it is everyone's right to label something. For him, that assumption is also a form of appreciation for Lyla's works.

"We don't mind being called the King of FTV Soundtrack, every listener is free to have their opinion, what matters is thank you for appreciating Lyla's works until now," explained Fare Lyla.

Not only in FTV, Lyla's songs also often decorate TikTok. Love-themed songs frequently performed by Lyla make their songs more frequently used as soundtracks in FTV or TikTok.

2. More Enthusiastic

Lyla's personnel also do not deny that the frequent presence of Lyla's songs in FTV or TikTok increases the number of listeners on digital platforms. This also adds to the enthusiasm of the band led by Ario (vocals), Fare (guitar), Dennis (bass), Dharma (keyboard), Difin (drums) to release new works soon.

"These (new) songs are a collection of materials that we have kept for the past eight years," concluded Fare Lyla.

Lyla has prepared around 18 songs to be included in their sixth album. Out of the 18 materials, 10 songs will be chosen to adorn the new album. Lyla targets to release the new album by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
