Once Mekel Works on Unique New Piece After Controversy with Ahmad Dhani

Kapanlagi.com - Soloist Elfonda Mekel, or better known as Once Mekel, is preparing a music video for his latest songs. This can be seen from the YouTube account of Multimas Production, which uploaded the moment.

Chris Charles, the owner of Multimas Production, confirmed that he and Once Mekel are indeed making a documentary for Once Mekel's single.

"So this is the moment when Once is releasing his latest single entitled Sigma, but the music video we are making is not limited to the songs on the Sigma album only, but also songs from Once Mekel's previous albums such as Mystified, that's why Gugun is also involved as a guitarist in some songs," explained Chris Carles.

Chris Carles also called Once the best vocalist in Indonesia. That is the reason why he chose to collaborate with the 53-year-old musician.

"Whether we like it or not, we have to admit that Once's vocal quality is above the average of other vocalists in Indonesia, so we are very excited to work together. Despite many netizens saying that without the Dewa band, Once Mekel would not be where he is today, the statement can actually be reversed," explained Chris.

"Maybe if there was no Once, Dewa would still be confused about finding the right vocalist to sing Roman Picisan besides Ari Lasso. Without Once, Baladewa would not hear high notes sung softly and casually like Risalah Hati, maybe without Once there would be no high notes in the song Sayap-sayap Patah, or even Dewa would not have thought of songs like Arjuna or Cemburu. So Once can be known as he is now, because of his quality," said Chris.

Meanwhile, Once admitted that the single he is currently preparing is considered different and unique. "The concept is also definitely unique, because it is located in the storage warehouse of ATM machines located in Toyopack," explained Once Mekel.
