Kapanlagi.com - The music group Peraukertas greets music lovers again with their latest work titled Make It Right. This song showcases a new side of the band, previously known for their distinctive rock music and distortion. This time, Peraukertas adds a different touch with a modern pop vibe, blending synthesizers and sound design created in collaboration with Andriju from Dreane.
"The lyrics of this song are a mix of Indonesian and English. We want to bring a new color to our work while also making this song enjoyable for music lovers outside of Indonesia," said Candra Kim, one of the members of Peraukertas.
The song Make It Right carries an emotional story about a lover trying to fix past mistakes with their partner. The story depicts someone who is too caught up in themselves to pay attention to their partner, but ultimately realizes that mistake and wants to change for love.
“This song is about admitting mistakes and the desire to be better. The character is trying to apologize and fix everything so they can always be there for their partner, regardless of what others say,” explained Dimensi Hardi, another member.
The production process of this song took up to three months, starting from the workshop to the mastering stage. During that time, Peraukertas, consisting of Candra Kim, Manjoy, and Dimensi Hardi, explored various musical elements to produce a work that aligns with their vision.
“This is the result of our musical exploration. I wrote the lyrics, produced, and also worked on the mixing of this song. Then Dimensi and Manjoy completed it with their contributions,” added Candra Kim.

Not only presenting a new musical color, Peraukertas also meticulously prepared all visual aspects of this song. The artwork and music video for Make It Right received support from the clothing brand Sch, which provided clothing and accessories for the visual needs.
“The process was quite intense. We wanted the visuals to support the story of this song, while also strengthening the impression we want to convey,” revealed Manjoy.
Collaboration with Andriju from Dreane also added value to this song. The distinctive sound design enriches the song's dimension, making it sound fresher and more modern. This is acknowledged by the members of Peraukertas as a strategic step to reach a wider audience.
“The goal is indeed for our work to be accepted not only in Indonesia but also by music lovers abroad. We hope this song can be a gateway to a wider market,” said Dimensi Hardi.
With lyrics that mix Indonesian and English, as well as dynamic musical arrangements, Make It Right is expected to be one of Peraukertas' flagship songs in their musical journey. This song also demonstrates the group's commitment to continuously evolve and present works that are relevant to the times.
“We want to keep growing. This song is proof that we dare to experiment and explore new sides of our music,” concluded Candra Kim.
