Perfect Performance at JogjaROCKarta #4, Whitesnake Satisfies Tens of Thousands of Audience

Kapanlagi.com - The legendary hard rock band from England, Whitesnake, successfully rocked Yogyakarta at the JogjaROCKarta Festival (JRF) #4 at Kridosono Stadium, Yogyakarta, on Sunday (1/3). Performing their best songs, Whitesnake was able to deliver a perfect performance.

The band, led by David Coverdale (lead vocals), Reb Beach (guitars/backing vocals), Michael Devin (bass/harmonica/backing vocals), Tommy Aldridge (drums), Joel Hoekstra (guitars/backing vocals), Michele Luppi (keyboards/backing vocals), took the stage at 20.40 WIB. Not wanting to disappoint the thousands of audience who had been waiting since the afternoon, David Coverdale and his band immediately rocked the crowd with the song Bad Boys.

They continued to ignite the audience's spirit with Slide it in, Love Ain't No Strangers, Hey You, and Slow end Easy. After that, David Coverdale greeted the audience.

"Hello Yogyakarta. I came here in 1975, and now I am very happy to be here (Indonesia) again. This is a beautiful country. Friendly people. This song is for you. Let's sing together," greeted David Coverdale from the stage.

As is known, David Coverdale did visit and hold a concert in Indonesia in 1975. However, at that time he was still with Deep Purple before finally leaving and joining Whitesnake.

The song Trouble became the next presentation. Thousands of spectators witnessed Whitesnake's explosive performance. Despite no longer being young, Whitesnake was able to deliver an energetic stage act.

The vocal quality of David Coverdale still sounds the same as when he was young. Not to mention the fantastic performance of solo guitarist Reb Beach before the songs Shut Up and Kiss Me. Not only that, the drummer, Tommy Aldridge, also showcased his drum solo.

Local bands also showed off their skills such as Kelompok Penerbang Roket, Navicula, Powerslave, and God Bless. Not to mention the Mongolian band, The Hu, which also caught the attention of thousands of spectators.
