Personal Experience, Dian Fitrie Pours Her Heart into the Single 'Belahan Jiwa'

Kapanlagi.com - Restlessness or heartache is one of the things that inspires most musicians, including Dian Fitrie. Based on her personal experience when her heart was restless about the future of her love, she poured all those feelings into a single titled Belahan Jiwa (Soul Mate).

"The song Belahan Jiwa is my own creation based on personal experience, which tells the story of my romantic relationship, but because of one condition, I myself am not sure if my relationship will work out in the future or not. Although it's just my own feeling. Finally, because I was so sad, this song Belahan Jiwa was created," said Dian.

Although it's still relatively new, Dian doesn't want her debut single to be just a casual project. Slowly, she writes the lyrics and looks for melodies that suit the atmosphere she desires. After that, she combines each recording piece into one.

"I do like to write while daydreaming until it becomes a song. When I write songs, I also like to sing and improvise." That's why after I made the lyrics, I put in the melody, I connect them like that and so on. I recorded everything piece by piece, until it finally became a song. That's how I explore the story of a woman who has a hobby of traveling.

As for the music arrangement sector, Dian entrusted it to talented young musician, Yogi Febriyanto, who also holds the position of music director. Yogi revealed that Dian wanted to add strings and piano to strengthen the emotions that she wants to present in the single Belahan Jiwa.
