Posan Tobing Holds Grand Concert 'Anak Ni Raja', Making Batak Singers Proud

Kapanlagi.com - The concert titled Anak Ni Raja has just been held at the Bekasi Convention Center on Saturday (18/5/2024). Hosted by Jupiter Fortisimo and Irma Purba, it was enlivened by several Batak singers, such as Novita Dewi, Alex Hutajulu, Vicktor Hutabarat, Rani Simbolon, Ossen Hutasoit, Dorman Manik, Jun Munthe, and Duo Naimarata.

The musician Posan Tobing, as the initiator of the Anak Ni Raja concert, revealed that this event is a tribute to Batak musicians. The plan is to make this concert an annual event.

"Tonight is a concert tribute. In our opinion, it is the greatest talent tribute concert. We named this talent tribute concert Anak Ni Raja 2024," said Posan Tobing at the Bekasi Convention Center on Saturday (18/5/2024).

"This will be an annual concert. We are grateful and thank the sponsors who have made this concert happen," added Posan.

Posan revealed his reasons for organizing the Anak Ni Raja concert. His main goal is to uplift talented Batak musicians.

"Anak Ni Raja means that all Batak people are children of kings. Because all Batak people are kings. So just the name itself already has a message, it means we young Batak people have started facing a crisis of the Batak language," said Posan.

2. Promoting Batak Culture

In addition, through the Anak Ni Raja concert, Posan wants to promote Batak culture. That's why, in the concert, the singers perform wearing songket fabric provided by Vany Songket.

"Then we want to promote Batak culture. That's why we collaborate with Vany Songket, so that the performers will wear songket," said Posan.

Posan also expressed his gratitude for the support of the sponsors who are willing to fully support the Anak Ni Raja concert, such as Vany Songket, Baba Parfum, and Angker Bir.

"We are grateful and thankful to the sponsors, who have made this concert possible," said Posan.

3. The Grandest Concert

Meanwhile, singer Novita Dewi, who is one of the performers, feels proud to be part of the Anak Ni Raja concert. According to her, Anak Ni Raja is one of the grandest concerts.

"I am really proud, me and my husband, Alex Hutajulu, to be trusted to participate in such a grand event. And Anak Ni Raja is truly different. It will definitely be a memorable concert, from what I know," said Novita Dewi.

"And Posan Tobing successfully brought together Batak musicians, the Batak community, which is truly amazing. I am proud to be one of the performers," concluded Novita Dewi.
