Release 'Love Race' at the Beginning of 2022, Rocket Rockers Embed a Message of Spirit to Live

Kapanlagi.com - Starting the beginning of 2022, Rocket Rockers took positive steps. Yes, the band led by Aska (vocals, guitar), Bisma (bass), and Ozom (drums) released a new single titled Love Race.

There are 2 things that triggered the presence of the song Love Race. First, the resurgence of Tamiya games in the middle of last year. Where Rocket Rockers personnel and management team joined in celebrating the euphoria of Tamiya's presence, even forming the Rocket Rockers Racing team.

Second, behind the game, it turns out that Rocker Rockers personnel are nostalgic for one of the songs on the BETTER SEASON album, namely Aku Bosan Menjadi Pecundang when they lost the race.

"The initial idea came from the RR song on the BETTER SEASON album, titled Aku Bosan Menjadi Pecundang. I remember the song when I lost in several recent Tamiya races with Rocket Rockers Racing. Well, coincidentally, on RR's 22nd birthday, we held a Tamiya championship, so it seemed like the right moment to make this Love Race song," said Aska when met in Bandung recently.

Just like most of Rocket Rockers' songs, Love Race was written in the shortest possible time. Moreover, the musical framework created by their additional player, Samuel, was almost complete at that time.

With upbeat music and positive lyrics, Love Race embeds a message of encouragement for everyone, especially young people, to pursue something they love. It's no longer about the end result, but about how brave we are to start doing what we want.

"This song gives a lot of encouragement to pursue what you like and love. Even though obstacles may come one after another and success doesn't always come, at least you have pursued what you enjoy," explained Aska.

"Maybe in life, we are not always in the conditions and routines we want. But there is always time for a break and do something that can make us happy," he continued.

2. Prepare for 7th Album

As the opener for 2022, Love Race will be the start of Rocket Rockers towards their seventh album. Delayed for two years, Aska and the crew will work hard for this new album at the age of 23.

Love Race can already be listened to on various digital music platforms. Its music video has also been released on the official Rocket Rockers YouTube channel.

"What's certain is that we're chasing after the seventh album that was delayed for 2 years. Just pray for it," Aska requested.
