Kapanlagi.com - After successfully releasing Cassava and 20 some time ago, Jessica Sabar Bungauli or better known as Jebung comes up with her latest work. This time, Jebung presents her third single titled Hepeng.
Interestingly, the song Hepeng carries the Batak language while representing her Batak heritage. Hepeng, which means 'money' in Indonesian, comes with a pop and disco genre.
This song has been released since November 2021, and the lyrics were created by Jebung herself. Hepeng tells about the difficulty of finding money, but on the other hand, we must remain happy even if the income does not meet expectations.
"Through Hepeng, I want to entertain people. I want them to be happy and not worry about material shortages. Life must goes on, so just enjoy what we have, blessings will come as long as we strive," said Jebung when met in Sudirman, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (22/12) afternoon.
In addition, Jebung also shared his inspiration when writing the song Hepeng. He reminisced about his life in high school when he always tried to save money and restrain himself from buying unnecessary things.
"My goal was not to spend money so that I could save. So, if my friends invited me to hang out on the weekend, I didn't need to ask my parents for money," said the 20-year-old girl.

In addition, the production process went smoothly and didn't take long. Since Jebung wrote the song himself, he knew how to sing it well and have fun.

Not only that, Jebung apparently has another message for listeners regarding the song Hepeng. Everyone should save according to their own ability and not make things difficult for themselves.
"Like in verse 2, I explained that if you want to spend money, go ahead. If you want to invest, go ahead. The point is, don't be stingy with yourself and know what your own needs are. So, the result is not wasteful and you don't feel pressured to force yourself to save," he said.
