Pandemic Due to Covid 19 Virus Doesn't Stop This Band from Continuing to Create

Kapanlagi.com - The prolonged Covid 19 pandemic apparently did not stop the creativity of the talented young band group Partitunes to create new works. This rock genre music band from Pamulang, South Tangerang City, introduced their debut single titled 'Kencan' last weekend, the single was launched virtually in front of several media crews.

Partitunes was formed in 2019. This indie band group is led by four young people from South Tangerang City, namely Sendy Apriagi Wicaksana (lead vocals and lead guitar), Ghandur Putera Sakti (lead vocals 2 and drums), Garga (rhythm guitar), and Wafa (keyboard).

Meanwhile, they created the song 'Kencan' in early 2020. The song and arrangement took quite a long time due to the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The pandemic has been quite troublesome for us in completing this single. Because we have to choose the right time to do everything, starting from creating the song, making the arrangement, to the editing process," said Sendy.

"Alhamdulillah, thanks to the hard work and unity of our friends, we finally managed to finish this single," added Sendy.

1. Give Encouragement to Young Musicians

Partitunes hopes that this single can be a boost and inspiration for young musicians who are starting out and creating works during the pandemic. According to him, the song Kencan tells a story about a romantic relationship that turns out to not go smoothly, a relationship that, according to him, is experienced by many teenagers today.

"The important thing is, don't lose hope to create. Have you ever, gentlemen, been left and given sweet promises by a woman, and then she left you for another man," said Sendy.

In addition, even though the lyrics have a broken heart theme, the upbeat music makes the song far from sounding sappy. Currently, the single Kencan can be heard on several music platforms such as Spotify, Joox, Deezer, Amazon, biTunes, and Youtube Music.

"Although it's a heartbreak song, we package this single in a Rock n' Roll music style with a touch of Pop Punk," concluded Ghandur, the drummer.
