Welcoming the Month of Ramadan, Singer Liebie Shares Self-Reflection Through 'Sujudku'

Kapanlagi.com - As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, the beautiful singer from Lampung, Liebie, introduces her latest single titled Sujudku. Liebie worked on this single during the ongoing pandemic.

Previously, Liebie was known more as a dangdut singer. Of course, her decision to release a religious single raised various questions. Liebie explained that there were personal reasons behind the path she chose.

"Actually, this is my personal reflection after the passing of my mother last December. This Ramadan, I fast without my mother, so it feels sad. Then I realized that death is something certain and can come at any time. That's why we always try to get closer to Allah," explained Liebie when met in Jakarta on Monday (12/04/21).

1. The Message in the Song 'Sujudku'

While in her previous singles and albums, Liebie entrusted Gilang A.K to arrange her music, this time she chose Yoel Lasso. Furthermore, Liebie explained the message and theme she conveyed in her single Sujudku.

"I intentionally wrote the song Sujudku myself. The lyrics talk about guidance and Liebie's reflection on always remembering sins, both intentional and unintentional," explained Liebie.

"For this religious single, the arrangement was made by Yoel Lasso, and the music has a different vibe, more pop," she added.

2. Already Prepared for a New Religious Single

Next, Liebie will focus more on promoting his latest single. Most of the process will be shared through social media platforms, considering the ongoing pandemic situation.

"For promotion, we will maximize social media, then release it on online and print media, and also simultaneous radio broadcasting. So, today at 10 am, we will do simultaneous radio broadcasting throughout Indonesia," explained Liebie.

Liebie's contribution to the Indonesian music industry can be considered extraordinary. In less than a year, he has been very productive in releasing his works. Previously, Liebie has released 3 singles and an album titled HATI, all of which were released throughout 2020.

"If there are no obstacles, God willing, I will release my second religious single before Eid. So, in this second single, I will feature someone. Who will I be featuring? Just wait and see," concluded Liebie.

Liebie's single Sujudku is released under the BAM (Bintang Adian Musika) label. Now, KLovers can listen to his song on various digital music platforms, such as iTunes, Spotify, Joox, and others.
