Collaboration with Bemby Noor, Frengky Zega Releases Second Single Titled 'Lagu Untukmu'

This theme is also very relevant to the figure of a teenage singer from Nias named Frengky Zega. His dream of becoming a singer could not have been realized without the support of his family and friends.

As a form of gratitude, Frengky released his second single titled Lagu Untukmu which tells a story about friendship. The special thing is, the song was created by a top composer from Indonesia, Bemby Noor.

"This song conveys the meaning of true friendship. A true friend always gives strength to make their friend happy when facing the difficulties of life," said Bemby in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

1. Change Singing Style

The inspiration for this song came from the film scenario SONG FOR RENA which was played by Frengky as the main character and will be released soon. Frengky was also required to change his singing style to be more pop after previously being accustomed to Malay nuances in the single Song For You.

"In the process, I also see what the vocal character of Frengky is like, read the synopsis (SONG FOR RENA) because it will also become a soundtrack, so it is adjusted to the vocal character, genre, and synopsis so that the meaning of friendship is touching. Finally, I made a ballad because Zega is strong in Malay pop, but in the process, I tried to direct it not too Malay, there is also a pop element," added Bemby.

2. Challenges Faced by Frengky Zega

Frengky's age, which is starting to mature, is certainly a challenge in itself. His voice entering the transition period requires him to spend more time recording for adjustment. Even so, Frengky has proven successful in delivering a 'feeling' as a heartfelt performance, making anyone who listens feel the sincere message he wants to convey.

"The recording time is tiring, several takes. Then, when making the music video, the location was in the mountains, so it was quite tiring. Actually, I never dreamed of reaching this point and finally it came true," said Zega.

The music video for Song For You can already be watched through the Avancer TV Youtube channel. There, it tells the journey of Frengky along with his two friends, Jefry & Tiara. The setting location is Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge, one of the beautiful and Instagrammable tourist attractions in Indonesia.
