Getting to Know Sion, Talented Teen Singer and Future Indonesian Star

Kapanlagi.com - The music industry in the country is once again enlivened by the presence of young talented musicians. This time it comes from a figure named Jerremy Sion Nathaniel Kiuk or familiarly known as Sion. He was born in Surabaya on May 7, 2005, from Rote, East Nusa Tenggara.

Since the age of 12, Sion has released a song titled Hosanna You Are There. A year later, he even released a mini album titled TALES which contains 5 songs, namely Rina and Santi, Life is Just For a While, Smiling to the Moonlight, Lara Ramila, and Trip to China, all of which carry the pop jazz genre.

In addition to having great singing talent, Sion is also skilled in playing various musical instruments, such as trumpet, piano, and guitar. His desire to explore various types of music makes his knowledge and references about the music world so extensive.

1. Release Single 'Gimme A Chance'

Now at the age of 15, Sion returns with a new single titled Gimme A Chance, precisely on Friday (26/3) yesterday. This single, written by Sion since late 2020, sounds so different from previous works, so it can embrace a wider audience.

Interestingly, the process of making the single Gimme A Chance was done separately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where Sion is from Surabaya, while the production team is in Jakarta. The music arrangement was handled by Daniel Clift, while the brass section was filled by Ignasius Angga, and Richard Benhard was in charge of mixing and mastering.

Sion and the team hope that this latest single can be well-received by music lovers in the country.
