Newcomer Singer Clarissa Releases Debut Single, Immediately Receives Praise from Krisdayanti and Ronny Sianturi

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian music scene is once again welcoming a talented newcomer in the form of Clarissa from Jakarta. As a sign of her seriousness in pursuing a career in the music industry of the homeland, Clarissa introduced a new single titled Mendua on Friday (18/6) last week.

Since she was young, specifically when she was in elementary school, Clarissa has shown her love for singing. However, it was only at the age of 18 that she dared to write and introduce her own song titled Mendua. She attributes this achievement to the significant role played by her mother.

"All of this is the support from my mother, who always gives me advice to not stop at this point, to strive further and be able to inspire others, especially teenagers, to participate in creative activities," said Clarissa during a press conference at Shangri La Hotel on Friday (18/6).

Clarissa's debut single tells the story of a woman who loves her boyfriend sincerely. Unfortunately, her lover betrays her love and cheats on her with another woman. This story is relatable to real-life incidents that we often encounter.

The song Mendua was beautifully crafted by composer & arranger Puspita Wardhani Adjiei, while Ferdian Ismanto was trusted as the music director. Meanwhile, Harry SW, who was trusted as the Mixing & Mastering, successfully brought a very sweet and beautiful musical atmosphere with a combination of Clarissa's vocals that are very refreshing and gentle.

At the release event of Clarissa's single, the figure of the diva of Indonesian music, Krisdayanti, was seen. The wife of Raul Lemos admitted to being so amazed by Clarissa's vocal abilities. However, she also advised the beautiful girl not to neglect her education even though she is now pursuing a career in the entertainment world.

"Her timbre is good, her appearance is beautiful, and she can manage between education and singing. I hope Clarissa can be like Maudy Ayunda, maintaining a balanced career with education, so that it flows like water. And I support the birth of other Clarissas," praised KD.

Support for Clarissa also came from Ronny Sianturi, a member of Trio Libels. Like KD, Ronny was also very impressed by Clarissa's singing abilities. He even mentioned that Clarissa could become a shining pop singer in the future.

"Besides having good singing talent, she also has the complete package to become a future pop singer," added Ronny Sianturi.

Aside from achieving many accomplishments in the world of singing, Clarissa has also won several local and national events, such as being crowned as the winner of the Indonesian Cultural Teen Princess 2020.
