Kapanlagi.com - Ria Prawiro continues to prove her productivity as a musician amidst the pandemic. After previously launching singer Mark Pattie, this time the composer, co-music producer, and executive producer released a beautiful and elegant instrumental album titled KESATU.

There are 7 songs in the album that can already be listened to on the digital platform. One of them is the song Kalau which is an old song that Ria performed for the soundtrack of Catatan Si Boy 1 decades ago. This song becomes the magical axis of this album along with 6 other songs.

"Yes, I am grateful to God, having a young musician team who are ready to translate what is in my mind," said Ria in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

"Many people don't realize that 'KESATU' can mean there will be a 'second' and so on. It's about seven, not a feng shui number. This is a beautiful number given by God," she added.

1. Completed in a Short Time

Interestingly, the album KESATU was completed by Ria along with music director Gihon Lohanda and Juan Mandagie in a short time. In its creation, the three of them stayed away from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta and secluded themselves in Rumah Kinasih, Bogor.

"For several days, we were engrossed there. We were so happy. I couldn't believe that we could finish all the song materials in a short time," she happily reminisced.

"Every morning, I woke them up with my melodious singing. The song was Indonesia Pusaka. Obviously, they woke up hahaha. Then we did some exercise, had breakfast, and went straight to the studio. After lunch, we went back to the studio again, and during sunset, we took a break for snack time while looking at the green garden, joking around, and having workshops. When dinner time came, we ate and then went back to the studio. Usually, we finished above 10 o'clock," she continued.

2. Production Process

This instrumental album is made from scratch. It's not just about vocal engineering that is then muted and formatted as a minus one, and then filled with musical instruments again.

"I share the basic ideas behind each song. So that they understand and truly appreciate the meaning. Then they translate it into music," she explained.

One of the songs has a philosophical lyric about life, which is based on Ria's spiritual experience when visiting Tibet, Himalaya. Another song, You're The One, is a dedication to her beloved mother. Meanwhile, Abdimu is personally written by Ria for her father, Radius Prawiro.
