Returning to Indonesia After Studying in England, Mezzaluna Wants to Do Many Things in Indonesia

Kapanlagi.com - Singer, Mezzaluna, has completed her studies at the University of Birmingham, England. Majoring in Anthropology and Political Science, Mezz completed her studies for four years and has returned to Indonesia.

There are many things that the daughter of Slank's drummer, Bim Bim, wants to do after returning to the homeland. One of them is that she wants to try the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train.

"I'm really happy about that (high-speed train). It's developing again, especially public transportation. So that our culture can be changed to not always rely on private cars or motorcycles, so the pollution will be better," Mezz said to journalists recently.

In addition to her enthusiasm for trying out the high-speed train, Mezz also highlights the environmental pollution that has been occurring in Jakarta lately. As a young generation, Mezz feels the need to take action or do something to improve Jakarta's air.

"I really can't do anything, and I want to make a big change, but it has to involve many people and the government," she said.

Furthermore, Mezz also explains about various activities that she does on her campus. According to her, some of the things done on her campus can also be implemented in Indonesia.

2. Open Mind

"What I do on campus is have discussions with many people from different backgrounds every week. It can make our minds open and broad, because from many people's perspectives," she explained.

"In my opinion, with Indonesia's diverse cultures, we need to (implement) that. Because it's not just one culture, we have many. Everyone should be heard and respected. Maybe through that (discussion) we can become one. Even though we come from different backgrounds," she continued to explain.

Mezzaluna is also confirmed to continue her career in the music industry with Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (SMEI). Some time ago, she released the single Setting Up The Phone Call and is ready to release several more works.
