Senior Singer Jimma Hariesda Introduces Fifth Album, a Dedication to Healthcare Workers

Yes, he is a senior singer who was once involved in the soundtrack of the film CATATAN SI BOY 2 in the 1980s. In his time, Jimma often appeared on TVRI since appearing in 'Wajah Baru' on TVRI, which was a music program loved by singers all over Indonesia.

Until now, Jimma apparently still exists in the music industry of the homeland. Recently, he released his fifth album with a nationalist and religious pop genre, GIE2050. He produced this album together with the record label Maesda Pro Records. To adapt to the current music trends, Jimma presents a funky and catchy millennial concept with the theme of Emas 2050 Indonesia.

There are several standout songs in the album, one of which is Pahlawan Kemanusiaan. The song is performed by Jimma and Misqa Hariesda. Coincidentally, Misqa is the Ambassador of GIE2050. Jimma admitted that the song Pahlawan Kemanusiaan is dedicated specifically to healthcare workers throughout Indonesia.

"Especially those who have fallen as martyrs. All the songs in the GIE2050 album provide positive input for the Indonesian nation to be able to produce a nation with a shining golden heart. Especially by maintaining the unity and integrity of Indonesia as stated in the song Satukanlah Hamba-Mu Bangsa Indonesia which will make Indonesia the king of the world," said Jimma to the media recently.

After that, there is a song titled Hamba Merasa Tinggi (I Feel High) which brings a reminder message for humans not to feel smarter and arrogant towards fellow humans. Meanwhile, the song Gapai Indonesia Emas 2050 (Reach Indonesia Gold 2050) presents lyrics that can awaken the spirit and body of the Indonesian nation.

"This GIE2050 album is dedicated specifically to Soekarno-Hatta whom I love and the fighters of Indonesian independence," he said.

This syiar concept has actually been echoed by Jimma since 2007. This is because he sees the increasingly concerning situation of this nation in various aspects.

"Moreover, with the presence of Covid-19 and the Delta variant. Insha Allah, this pandemic will end soon. The most important thing is that we all focus and unite to fight against this virus. Especially by getting rid of slander, backbiting, provocation, and conflicts that hinder Indonesia's progress," he explained.
