Sunset at Purwodadi Garden Day 2, Nadin Amizah Dancing with the Audience in the Heavy Rain

After being made emotional by Juicy Luicy, Idgitaf, and Fiersa Besari on the first day. The excitement of Sunset at Purwodadi Garden continued on the second day. This time it was the turn of Thee Marloes, Iksan Skuter, Fourtwnty, and Nadin Amizah who made the attending audience emotional. The concert series started at 12:00 PM, beginning with the performance of Tari Reog Ponorogo. Followed by the music exploration performance by Celia Noreen and Her Band and also the local band from Malang which is already familiar, Kos Atos.

Thee Marloes became the first guest star on the second day. Taking the stage at 1:20 PM, this band from Surabaya performed several songs including their flagship single True Love. Followed by the performance of Iksan Skuter with his reliable guitar. Followed by the performance of Fourtwnty and ended by the fairy mother Nadin Amizah.

On the second day, the rain poured heavily and lasted longer than the first day. The venue was filled with mud and the footpaths were very slippery. However, this did not dampen the spirits of the audience to attend and watch their idols. The venue was very crowded to the point that some audience members had to stand because they couldn't find a place to lay their mats.

Here are some interesting things that happened during the Sunset at Purwodadi Garden concert on the second day, from Ari Lesmana's announcement to Nadin Amizah's dance.

1. Iksan Skuter Sings a Song for Father

One interesting thing that happened at the Sunset concert in the Garden on the second day was Iksan Skuter's performance of his hit single titled Ayah (Father). The audience sang along in the rain that soaked the Purwodadi Botanical Garden.

In addition, Iksan Skuter also performed several other songs, including a song titled Rindu Sahabat (Missing Friends). He also shared with the audience the stories behind the songs he performed yesterday.

2. Heavy Rain Does Not Dampen the Spirit of the Audience

The weather was quite bright when the Reog Ponorogo Dance was performed. The rain started to fall when Kos Atos performed his first song. The heavy rain accompanied Thee Marloes' performance. The audience started using the plastic raincoats they had prepared.

The rain subsided briefly when Fourtwnty performed and sang along with the audience. Ari Lesmana briefly came down from the stage and walked towards the crowd. However, when Nadin Amizah performed last, the rain poured heavily. The venue was filled with mud and the roads were very slippery. However, that did not break the spirit of the audience.

3. Fourtwnty Invites the Audience to Sing Indonesia Pusaka

In addition to singing their popular songs such as Hitam Putih, Aku Tenang, Zona Nyaman, and Fana Merah Jambu, Fourtwnty also invited the audience to sing the national anthem Indonesia Pusaka together. This event was led by vocalist Ari Lesmana.

Ari Lesmana shared that the entire community should make peace after the general election last February. He invited the audience to put away their cellphones and raise their hands. After that, Ari guided the audience to sing this Indonesian national song together.

4. Nadin Amizah Dancing with the Audience

Nadin Amizah, in her distinctive outfit, suddenly came down from the stage and pulled a woman to dance together. Interestingly, the audience member named Intan was wearing an outfit similar to Nadin Amizah's.

Intan immediately took off her raincoat and started dancing with the singer of the song Sorai. They jumped around in the muddy venue of Sunset di Kebun. This incident received thunderous applause from the amazed audience at their dancing skills.
