Synchronize Fest 2023 Announces 12 Performers, Including Raffi Ahmad Vocal Group to Iwan Fals X Sawung Jabo

Kapanlagi.com - A total of 12 performers have been confirmed to enliven the annual music event, Synchronize Fest 2023. It is known that Synchronize Fest will be held on September 1-3, 2023 at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

What's special is that the 12 performers are names that have long been in the Indonesian music industry. Even some of them are legends of Indonesian music from the 60s, 70s, to the 90s.

Of course, their performances are the most awaited in Synchronize Fest 2023. They will give a special performance in the annual music festival.

1. Bimbo with Yanti Bersaudara

On the special stage of Synchronize Fest 2023, Bimbo will perform with another legendary sibling group from Bandung, Yanti Bersaudara. Their names have recently caught attention again after their songs were re-released on vinyl through a Jakarta-based record label, Lamunai Records.

2. God Bless

Legendary Indonesian rock band, God bless, is ready to celebrate their 50th anniversary in the Synchronize Fest 2023 stage. God bless plans to perform with active musicians today, such as Kelompok Penerbang Roket, Isyana Sarasvati, Scaller, Iksan Skuter, Soegi Bornean, Barasuara, and Ardhito Pramono.

This collaboration not only celebrates the five-decade career of God Bless in Synchronize Fest 2023, but also celebrates the regeneration of music in the homeland.

3. Iwan Fals X Sawung Jabo

Two legendary Indonesian musicians and artists, Iwan Fals and Sawung Jabo, are a must-see collaboration in Synchronize Fest 2023. Their musical journey was so great when they strengthened the superior group SWAMI and Kantata Takwa together.

In 1990, Kantata Takwa held a concert at the main stadium of Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, with an estimated audience of up to 150,000 people. This important history of Indonesian music was recorded, and Fals and Jabo were two of the parties who wrote it.

4. Sherina's Adventure Concert

In 2022, the Sherina's Adventure 2 project was officially announced and scheduled to be released in September. Synchronize Fest 2023, in collaboration with Miles Films and Jakarta Movin, will welcome the sequel by presenting the Sherina's Adventure Concert on one of its stages.

Famous songs from the movie, such as “Bintang-bintang”, “Jagoan”, and “Kertarajasa” will be performed with guest musicians, including Isyana Sarasvati, Yura Yunita, and Reza Chandika.

5. Matajiwa X Matajiwo

What would happen if the sound of Matajiwa rock accompanies a wayang show performed by cultural figure Sujiwo Tejo? A cross-medium collaboration that is worth seeing. They once performed together and became a topic of discussion in 2015.

At that time, Matajiwa x Matajiwo presented a wayang kulit show titled Karno Tanding. Matajiwa accompanied the show with their repertoire, one of which was “Semesta”. Synchronize Fest 2023 is ready to present the special collaboration of Matajiwa x Matajiwo again.

6. Melly Goeslaw Songbook (feat. BBB, Irwansyah & Anda Perdana)

Melly Goeslaw will be nostalgic on the stage of Synchronize Fest 2023 with her collaborators such as Anda Perdana, Irwansyah, and BBB (Bukan Bintang Biasa, a vocal group consisting of Raffi Ahmad, Dimas Beck, Ayushita, Chelsea Olivia, and Laudya Cynthia Bella).

They will perform Melly Goeslaw's songs starting from her time with the group Potret such as "Salah", "Bagaikan Langit", to her solo projects that produced collaboration songs full of memories such as "Jika", "Butterfly", and "Ada Apa dengan Cinta".

7. Time Machine 2.0: Friends Singing NAIF Songs

About 16 years ago, the record label Aksara Records released a monumental compilation album entitled Mesin Waktu: Teman-teman Menyanyikan lagu NAIF (Time Machine: Friends Singing NAIF Songs). As the title suggests, the album contains NAIF's songs that were rearranged by names such as White Shoes & The Couple Company, The Brandals, Goodnight Electric, Cherry Bombshell, The Monophones, The Adams, and Sore.

At Synchronize Fest 2023, NAIF's songs will be performed by Bilal Indrajaya, Chroma Strings, Endah N Rhesa, GAC, Kunto Aji, Nesia Ardi, Perunggu, Priscilla Jamail, Sentimental Moods, Sisitipsi, and The Adams.

8. Republik Cinta Management

Republik Cinta Management (RCM) is a music management company founded by the talented songwriter, Ahmad Dhani. He oversees many musicians such as Mulan Jameela, T.R.I.A.D, Mahadewi, The Virgin, Virzha, and Marcello Tahitoe. The first three names mentioned are confirmed to enliven the special stage of Synchronize Fest 2023.

Get ready to sing along as they perform hits such as "Makhluk Tuhan Paling Seksi", "Wonder Woman", "Selir Hati", "Kamu-kamulah Surga", "Sumpah I Love You", and "Ayang Ayang Ku".

9. Fariz RM

The special performance of the legendary musician Fariz RM at Synchronize Fest 2023 will showcase his works released from 1979 to 1989. Fariz released a total of 11 full albums in that decade, containing famous songs such as "Mega Bhuana", "Semusim", "Di Antara Kata", "Kurnia dan Pesona", "Jerat", "Nada Kasih", "Barcelona", and "Sungguh".

Fariz's songs have also echoed among the youth in recent years. Synchronize Fest 2023 will provide a festival atmosphere to reminisce together and also bring some of Fariz's colleagues such as Candra Darusman and Neno Warisman to enliven the event.
