Tell About Acceptance, Tradeto and Hindia Release Collaboration Single 'About the Future/One Two Steps'

Kapanlagi.com - After releasing two singles in 2019 and 2020 respectively, Jakarta-based musician Tradeto is back with a new single titled Tentang Masa Depan/Satu Dua Langkah which also features Hindia as a collaborator.

Inspired by his personal story, Tentang Masa Depan/Satu Dua Langkah is Tradeto's expression of the many plans that were canceled due to the pandemic.

“The pandemic really ruined a lot of my plans. There were many things that I should have done, but everything got canceled. But because of this, I also learned that life doesn't always go according to plan. So when my plans didn't work out, I learned to be sincere and slowly rearrange my plans,” he explained.

Tentang Masa Depan/Satu Dua Langkah is a song that Tradeto wrote since late 2020, but will only be released in July 2021. This song is inspired by Kunto Aji's album 'Mantra-Mantra' and Hindia's 'Menari Dengan Bayangan.'

“If you ask where Mas Kun's voice is, it's in the voice note that appears in the middle of the song. As for Hindia, because he relates to the story in this song, he gladly wanted to help and become a duet partner in this song - it's nice because our vocals are very different, so the vocals he provided give a pleasant harmony to this song," explained Tradeto.

1. Entertainment Amidst the Pandemic

With the release of Tentang Masa Depan/Satu Dua Langkah, Tradeto hopes that this song can be a source of entertainment for those affected by the pandemic situation.

"Returning to earth occasionally" and "be careful of getting burned by the sun" are fitting representations of this pandemic situation. The pandemic has truly taught me about acceptance. Many people have experienced loss. Some have lost their families, careers, jobs, and even their dreams," she said.

"But that's life, sometimes there are things that are beyond our control. The current situation teaches us to be more cautious in managing our expectations and to start being more realistic because life can sometimes surprise us," concluded Tradeto.

Tentang Masa Depan/Satu Dua Langkah can now be listened to on digital streaming platforms starting from August 13, 2021. The release of this song is also accompanied by a lyric video that can be watched on Tradeto's YouTube channel.
