At the press conference on the first day of the opening of Come See Mie Fest 2024, Katria Arintya Anindyantari, Head of Marketing Food WINGS Group Indonesia, revealed the theme of the event that will entertain visitors.

1. Instagrammable Photo Spots

With the theme The Mythical Journey, visitors will be taken to experience a unique fantasy world atmosphere. The spots with eye-catching visuals that are also Instagrammable at the Come See Mie Fest 2024 event are a special attraction.

Starting from a colorful area featuring immersive art installations, augmented reality photo booths, a tunnel to the mythical gate, glamping, relaxation facilities, exciting games, and food vendors. Moreover, Katria Arintya Anindyantari also added that Mie Sedaap has become the instant noodle brand of choice for Gen-Z.

"It's really the spirit of 20-somethings who are enjoying life, and how we want to cater to the generation that is still in their 20s, namely Gen-Z." She stated.

At the Come See Mie Fest 2024, Mie Sedaap also introduced new characters in its packaging, which are also showcased at the Come See Mie Fest 2024 Candi Prambanan event.

Created by illustrator WS Willy, these characters are named Greg, Sonya, Chibi, Secha, and Dae Han, each with distinctive features in terms of color, eyes, and mouth.

2. Showcase Many Entertainments

Completing the excitement of Come See Mie Fest 2024 at Prambanan Temple, visitors will be entertained by the performers present. On the first day of the opening, there will be a series of performers including Mask Dance, a colossal dance by Loka Art Performance, a musical drama themed The Mythical, and performances by popular singers.

In the afternoon, several singers will also perform, including Chintya Gabbriella, who returns to Come See Mie Fest 2024 to sing her hit song. Then, there’s Fourtune Band with several songs to entertain the audience of Come See Mie Fest 2024.

For your information, the Come See Mie Fest 2024 will take place from September 20-22, 2024, at Prambanan Temple. On the second day, Klantink and The Changuters will perform to entertain visitors. Meanwhile, the last day will be closed by performances from Kunto Aji, Friday Noraebang, Club Dangdut Racun, RFRINDS, and Korekayu.

3. Geisha's Performance Successfully Made the Audience Emotional

The band Geisha was a highly anticipated performer at the Come See Mie Fest 2024 at Prambanan Temple. This famous Indonesian band performed several of their hit songs that successfully made the audience emotional.

Regina Poetiray, the vocalist of Geisha, appeared beautiful in a matching black skirt and crop top. Together with the Geisha band, she performed several songs such as If Love Is Him, Disable My Memory, Because of You, Love and Hate, You Are the First. These songs successfully made the audience nostalgic about the joys and sorrows of falling in love.

4. Kotak Brings a New Concept

Kotak performed as the closing act on the first day of Come See Mie Fest 2024 at Prambanan Temple. The band, consisting of Tantri S. Ichlasari, Swasti Sabdastantri, and Mario Marcella, presented a special performance with a new concept. This coincides with the celebration of the two decades of this popular band on September 27, 2024.

"Because yesterday I noticed there was a collaboration with Gen-Z and also the Millennial generation, so I just happened to meet Willy Winarko, so Kotak has released a collaborative single where we create a collaboration concept, the action song will be made into rap," said Tantri Kotak at the press conference on Friday, (20/9/2024).

In addition, Kotak revealed that they would present a performance that matches the beautiful scenery of Prambanan Temple. This includes giving a touch of the archipelago at night during Come See Mie Fest 2024.

Interestingly, Kotak will also celebrate two decades of work on September 27, 2024. On this occasion, Kotak leaked some details about a concert that will be held on November 23, 2024, at Senayan Basketball Hall.

"For friends aged 20, enjoy every process because life is not always happy, especially in this era where it is easier to compare, never compare your life with others, try to explore your maximum potential, InsyaAllah it will go well," said Tantri Kotak.

5. Give It a Touch of the Archipelago

Uniquely, Kotak will perform by giving a touch of the Archipelago. Starting from the opening, the fashion theme, to regional dances. When met by the media after the press conference, Swasti Sabdastantri or Chua Kotak revealed that the most memorable part of the Come See Mie Fest 2024 event was the opening with the sounds of Javanese music and Javanese proverbs.

The outfit theme of Kotak at the Come See Mie Fest 2024 is also typical of the Archipelago, combining Madura fabric. The choice of Madura fabric is not without reason as it aims to bring the essence of Indonesian culture. In addition to the outfit, Tantri Kotak also showcased a bit of traditional Indonesian dance that further enriched the Archipelago atmosphere.

"Because for Java itself, the gamelan and everything has already been presented in Kotak. We want the Indonesian nuance to be there. Indonesia is not just batik clothes; we are very much from Java, and we mix it with outfits to be like Indonesia." said Chua.

6. Hit Songs to Collaborations

Box performed several of their hit songs during their appearance at the Come See Mie Fest 2024. Some of these songs include Just Leave, Still in Love, I Always Love, Inspiration of Friends, Haters, Kick from the Sky and others.

Mario Marcella's son also took the stage with a guitar. His appearance on stage successfully captured the audience's attention. Additionally, there was a collaboration with Willy Winarko in the song Acting.

This song was packaged in a different way by adding rap lyrics. Tantri from Box revealed that their collaborative performance was quite spontaneous. Despite not rehearsing, Box and Willy Winarko delivered a maximum performance.
