Titi DJ Opens Up About the Postponement of the Super Diva Concert, Was Down But Now Is Excited Again

Kapanlagi.com - The "Super Diva" concert, which brings together three legendary divas, Titi DJ, Kris Dayanti, and Ruth Sahanaya, along with a trio of young singers, Tiara Andini, Ziva Magnolya, and Lyodra, has been postponed.

Previously, the concert was scheduled to take place on November 2, 2024, at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta. However, the promoter Konsersium Anak Nusantara decided to move the date to January 17, 2025.

Behind the announcement of the postponement, Titi DJ admitted she felt a significant disappointment. In fact, the news made her feel down. Nevertheless, Titi managed to overcome those feelings after receiving confirmation regarding the new concert date.

"Of course, there was a feeling of disappointment. We were down too. But once we got certainty about the replacement date, we were excited again," said Titi DJ at the Erwin Gutawa Music Centre Studio, Jakarta, Friday (20/12/2024).

1. Opportunity to Perfect Preparations

On the other hand, Kris Dayanti views this postponement as part of a plan already set by God. According to her, this additional time actually provides more opportunities for the performers to perfect their preparations. She also revealed that the concert will feature around 49 songs, including several medleys.

"So there will be 49 songs. But there will definitely be a medley of KD's songs, our six songs. There will also be mashups," said Kris Dayanti.

Ziva Magnolya also provided a little sneak peek about their performance concept. She mentioned that there will be a very diverse collaboration, ranging from duets, trio performances, to performances with all six of them together. In fact, they will sing each other's songs with new arrangements.

"So basically, there will be duet collaborations. Then singing in threes, singing in sixes. Even we will sing songs that swap around, but the essence is our songs," said Ziva Magnolya.

2. Appear Magnificent

Titi DJ added that this concert will also appear magnificent with costumes specially designed by four renowned designers. Each costume will be tailored to the character of the singer and the song being performed, further enhancing the spectacular impression.

"For the clothing concept, there are four designers and each one is customized. So it is made specifically to match each character and their song. So it is truly spectacular," said Titi DJ.
