Valerie Utomo Releases Christmas Single Titled 'Jujur', A Reflection of Self-Honesty

Singer Valerie Utomo once again captivates the music world with her latest single titled Jujur. This song was released alongside the Christmas celebration, bringing a deep message about honesty and self-acceptance, inspired by Valerie's personal experiences that resonate with the dynamics of everyday life.

"Jujur is an expression of my heart. I want to convey that what I feel is also experienced by many people. This song is a form of honesty and acceptance of oneself," Valerie explained while sharing about her work.

In the production process, Valerie collaborated with students from Ciputra University Surabaya who played a significant role in creating the music video. This collaboration resulted in stunning visuals that exceeded her expectations. "When I finished writing this song, a group of students offered to collaborate. Their creativity is extraordinary, and the result truly exceeded my hopes," Valerie added enthusiastically.

Interestingly, Valerie completed this song just two hours after the evening prayer session. Although she experienced illness during the production process, she felt satisfied with the final result produced by the Rumah Kanema & ACP team. “Fun fact, I have loved singing since I was 7 years old. This song was completed in two hours, and I believe it was thanks to the wisdom from God. Even though I got sick, everything was worth it when I saw the final result,” she recalled enthusiastically.

Jujur was written based on Valerie's personal experiences in facing various life problems. This song depicts the journey of someone struggling with difficulties, finding strength, and surrendering to God. Valerie hopes her song can serve as a reminder that no one is ever truly alone.

"My message is simple, surrender to God. He never disappoints us. Whatever we face, God always has the best plan," said Valerie with hope.
