When Promises Cannot Be Kept, the Sad Story Behind Judika's Latest Single 'Ingkar Janji'

Inspired by a true story of a friend, Happy Andromeda created the song 'Ingkar Janji' so deeply that it makes us who listen to it get carried away. 'This song was created based on the true story of a friend who had been in a long relationship and could not continue to the marriage stage which was about to take place because one of the partners passed away,' said Happy when telling the story behind the creation of this song.

“When this song was first played, there were lyrics that didn't sound right”, Judika explained when he first received this song.

“But after talking and hearing the story behind this song being created, I could feel the honesty of this song and I want to make this song my debut single in 2024”, Judika added.

2. Going Through an Interesting Process

The second song released from many of Happy's compositions was arranged by the S/EEK team. Marco Steffiano from the S/EEK team stated that the process of making this song was quite fast.

"The process is quite interesting and fun, usually we exchange ideas in person, but for this song, we exchanged ideas through WhatsApp”, Marco explained when asked about the process of making this song.

Marco added that the music was created to help convey the message and emotions that Judika wanted to express in this song. Jessi from the S/EEK team also added, "working on this song Ingkar Janji is very exciting, especially with Judika's powerful voice".

The music video, directed by Sutedja Khoa and starring Baskara Mahendra and Hana Sarasvati, was quite interesting in its production process. AI technology was used in some parts of this music video to strengthen the story that was intended to be conveyed. The storyline was created to strengthen the story of what was intended to be conveyed in the song Ingkar Janji. Judika mentioned that this was the first time he cried during the shooting of a music video.

The single Ingkar Janji was released under the label of PT Dua Anak Deo and can be listened to on all digital streaming platforms starting from February 29, 2024. The music video can be watched on Judika Entertainment's YouTube channel.
