Carrying hit songs from the 1990s to 2000s, LOH KOK TUM BAND blends Pop, New Wave, Alternative, and Rock musical colors. Their style not only brings nostalgia but also a spirit of exploration.
"Playing with them feels like nostalgia, but with the energy of youth," said Yuke Sampurna, describing the band's dynamics that he believes brings new energy to music.
Through the tour titled TUMBAND PARTY, this band successfully rocked the stage in various major cities in Indonesia. Each city had different collaborators, from Aura Kasih in Bandung, Ghea Youbi in Surabaya, Wika Salim in Yogyakarta, to El Rumi & Sintya Marisca in Bali. In Jakarta, they performed together with Oom Leo & Ahmad Abdul. This format made each stage unique and unpredictable.
"I’m really happy to be a part of this band. The energy is incredible, especially being free to experiment on stage. Sometimes I sing, sometimes I play drums. It’s fun and full of surprises!" said Ello Tahitoe, who is known for his multi-talents and always brings surprises in every concert.
Not only a tour, LOH KOK TUM BAND has also collaborated with big names like Ahmad Dhani, Sandy Sondhoro, Ridho Slank, Thomas Gigi, David Bayu, Indra Aziz, and Andy /RIF. These collaborations show that this band is not just a stage entertainment, but also a vibrant place for musical exploration filled with collaborative spirit.
"In TUM BAND I can be myself—sometimes I even become the vocalist! Hahaha. But the most important thing is, we always bring surprises so that the audience can feel the excitement we feel," said Eno Gitara, who now not only plays behind the drums but also performs interactively in front of the audience.
According to Stevie Item, the band's main strength lies in the diversity of the musical backgrounds of its members. "Musically, TUM BAND is very rich. We all have different backgrounds, but that's what makes our music unique. I'm really excited for our debut song!" he expressed enthusiastically.
Now, LOH KOK TUM BAND is preparing to release their debut song, which will encapsulate the musical exploration of their tour journey and collaborations so far.
