Yovie Widianto Calls Young Singer Talented, Aminda Has a Beautiful Voice

Kapanlagi.com - The pandemic does not stop musician Yovie Widianto from creating. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Yovie Widianto created a new work for a talented young musician named Amindana Chinika, or familiarly known as Aminda. The beautiful singer born in Jakarta on June 17, 2002, was given a new song titled "Dua Centang Biru".

"During the pandemic, I couldn't escape from my work. Because I could do parallel recording at home. I created the music first, then the violin and guitar players followed," said Yovie Widianto at Hutan Kota By Plataran, Central Jakarta, on Friday (27/11/2020).

Yovie Widianto truly felt the difference when recording during the pandemic, especially in terms of time and intensity of meeting with Aminda. However, the recording process itself did not take too long, only about two hours.

"So, in detail, the process with Aminda itself didn't involve too many meetings, so finding the time was a bit challenging. The recording itself didn't take long, just a few hours. It's the practice and meetings that took a long time, not the recording," he said.

This is Aminda's debut in the Indonesian music industry. As a newcomer singer, Aminda's vocal is quite good and has character. In fact, it is not inferior to well-known solo singers in the country. That's what made Yovie Widianto interested in making a song for Aminda.

"Aminda's vocal is simple but melodious, and she is able to convey those stories sincerely to the heart. That's her strength. The uniqueness of her tone is also noticeable," said Yovie.

Aminda herself is indeed interested in new things, including entering the Indonesian music industry. "I want to continue working in the music world. Yes, I am quite happy with new things," concluded Aminda.
