Megawati started her journey as an athlete at the age of 14. She was once a young player in the Surabaya Bank Jatim squad in the Livoli Divisi Utama 2015.
She then joined Jakarta Pertamina Fastron from 2015 to 2017. She switched teams in 2018 when she played for Jakarta BNI 46.
Not only that, her international career began in 2021. She became part of the Thailand Supreme Chonburi-E.Tech club in the Thailand Women's Volleyball League for one season. In 2022, she played for the Vietnam Hà Phú Thanh Hóa club in the Vietnam Women's Volleyball League.
Despite her successful career as an athlete, Megawati still prioritizes education. She successfully completed her studies in Management at Kahuripan University, Kediri in 2020.
