Allegedly Engaged in a Fierce Argument, Man in Malang Mutilates Wife into Several Parts

Kapanlagi.com - A man from Malang City, James Lodewyk (61), is suspected of mutilating his wife, Ni Made Sutarini (55). The victim was found dead after the perpetrator surrendered.

The victim was murdered by mutilation into several parts. Pieces of the victim's body were found in front of the perpetrator's house, Jalan Serayu No 6, Bunulrejo Village, Blimbing District, Malang City.

Endang Lestari, Chairman of RW 02 Bunulrejo Village, admitted to knowing about the murder. The officers brought the perpetrator to the location at around 09.00 AM.

"We found out after the police came to the location because Mr. Jimmy (the perpetrator) surrendered," said Endang Lestari, Chairman of RW 02 at the scene, on Sunday (31/12).

1. Intense Quarrel

According to Endang, the residents previously reported that the couple had a intense quarrel. They became suspicious when the argument was no longer heard.

The victim and the perpetrator were a married couple who often quarreled. In fact, they were in the process of divorce.

Meanwhile, at the scene, the pink-fenced house has been cordoned off. Several household items can be seen scattered in front of the house.

2. Already Processed Crime Scene

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Malang City Police, Commissioner Danang Yudanto, explained that the police have conducted a crime scene investigation. Currently, the investigation is still ongoing against the perpetrator who mercilessly killed his wife.

"We are still handling the alleged Article 340 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder) committed by the suspect against his wife," said Danang Yudanto, "he added.

The victim's body has been taken to RSSA Saiful Anwar Malang for the autopsy process. The police have brought several pieces of evidence, such as clothes and bloodstained equipment.
