Baby Girl Found Pale and Floating in the Metro Malang River

Kapanlagi.com - A baby's body was found floating among trash and rocks in the Metro Kota Malang river. The surface of the female baby's body appeared burned and blue, while the submerged part appeared pale white.

The Head of Public Relations of Malang City Police, Iptu Ni Made Seruni Marhaeni, said that a local resident witness saw a white foreign object stuck in the trash and rocks in the river. The witness, named Kaseno (65), intended to take and confirm the object, initially thought to be a doll.

"The witness saw a white foreign object that was thought to be a doll. The witness intended to take it, but what was found turned out to be a deceased baby girl," said Marhaeni on Monday (5/1).

1. Pale and Pale Baby

The baby's body condition is pale and pale because it was submerged in a river for some time. The baby is in perfect physical condition, without wearing any clothes.

The location of the discovery is in the Metro river, in the flow of Joyo Tamansari Street, Merjosari Village, Lowokwaru, Malang City. The discovery was immediately reported by a witness and then reported to the local village officials, before being forwarded to the Lowokwaru Police Station, Malang City Police.

2. Inviting Public Curiosity

The discovery of the baby has sparked the curiosity of the arriving public. The baby's body was then evacuated and taken to the morgue of Saiful Anwar Hospital in Malang.

Until now, the police are investigating to find out the parents and the person who abandoned the baby. The police are requesting statements from witnesses at the scene who are believed to have knowledge of the incident.
