Collaboration between BSI and Zahir International: Strengthening Digitalization of MSMEs and Sharia Corporations

SEVP International & Information Technology of BSI Misbahul Munir stated that the collaboration between BSI and Zahir aims to create an accurate, fast, and inclusive digital ecosystem to facilitate access to financing services for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and corporations. We support the digital acceleration for the advancement of business actors.

BSI wants to establish a strong financial hub in Indonesia, making Indonesia a player rather than just a spectator in the global halal ecosystem. Zahir has now become a large corporation with comprehensive solutions, and this collaboration will provide many benefits," said Munir.

Zahir itself is a digital platform for financial recording for MSMEs. It offers comprehensive solutions for MSME and corporate segments for better-recorded transactions, allowing business cash flow to be clearly visible, including debt, receivables, sales, and more.

CEO of Zahir International Ismail Thalib mentioned that since its inception, Zahir has dreamed of contributing to the economy by providing faster and growing services. He pointed out that the current challenges in the industry are still related to the ease of access to financing, especially for MSME entrepreneurs. Therefore, with the collaboration with BSI, it is hoped that this issue can be addressed, among others, through transparent financial cash flow via an integrated platform.

1. BSI International Expo 2025

This event features 350 tenants from various sectors with 25 categories such as halal food (F&B), halal cosmetics, Muslim fashion, halal tourism, sharia fintech, banking, property, automotive, and Islamic education.

BSI International Expo 2025 also involves pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) and Islamic universities in Indonesia to promote the halal ecosystem from the educational perspective.

Several interactive programs will also be held during the expo, such as sharia economic seminars, halal lifestyle talk shows with Muslim influencers and brand ambassadors, Muslim fashion workshops, and Islamic studies with renowned scholars.

It is hoped that BSI International Expo 2025 will be a platform to introduce various innovations. This aligns with BSI's commitment to strengthen the halal ecosystem as well as serve as a medium for enhancing literacy and the Islamic Ecosystem.
