Come See Mie Bandung Surprises with the Presence of Woketoon and Unique Mie Sedaap Mascot Characters!

Looking back, this event took the theme Come See Mie Fest 2024: Journey to the Mythical Land on November 8-10, 2024. This event received extraordinary enthusiasm from the public, evidenced by the attendance of 37,000 people who filled the venue. 1. Unique Mascot of Mie Sedaap Collaborates with Illustrator WD Willy

In the midst of an era of advanced technology that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) like today, Mie Sedaap greatly values and appreciates the original and authentic works of local designers and illustrators. One of the ways this is shown is through the collaboration of Mie Sedaap with WD Willy, a renowned illustrator whose name is already familiar in the local art scene.

In this event, Mie Sedaap showcased a series of unique mascot characters created by WD Willy, representing each variant of Mie Sedaap products from Mie Sedaap Goreng to Mie Sedaap Singapore Spicy Laksa. These characters are Dae Han, Greg, Sonya, Chibi, and Secha.

Not only showcasing existing characters, at the Come See Mie Fest Bandung, WD Willy also introduced Gracie. This is the new character created by WD Willy. Gracie herself represents the new variant of Mie Sedaap Goreng ala Chef Devina that was launched some time ago.

2. Collaborating with Feri Akbar, the Creator of Woketoon

Here’s another surprise that makes the Come See Mie Bandung moment even more festive. Mie Sedaap has also collaborated with Feri Akbar, known as an illustrator and digital artist from Semarang, as well as the creator of Woketoon! This collaboration presents an engaging and action-packed storyline from Woketoon.

Wokeboy, who is the original character of Woketoon, enters the Sedaapverse along with Greg, Mie Sedaap's Special Character WD Willy, and the Sedaap Squad. Together, they synergize to protect BOWLSEEMIE, the most ultimate artifact in the Sedaapverse. The story goes that BOWLSEEMIE has been stolen by Wokedzilla, the strongest enemy there.

Wokeboy, along with Greg, fights to defeat Wokedzilla, and at the end of the story, BOWLSEEMIE suddenly opens, revealing something determined by each visitor!

3. Exclusive Merchandise of Mie Sedaap in Collaboration with Local Brands

It turns out that the surprises presented at Come See Mie Bandung don’t stop there! Mie Sedaap also showcases a collaboration with local brands in the form of exclusive merchandise to celebrate 20 Years of Mie Sedaap.

Various exclusive items with cool designs created by local brands such as Cosmonaut (clothing), Voted (socks), Porto X (sandals), Nindito (hats), and Skillo (figurines) were also present at the event. Visitors who purchased the special Mie Sedaap menu at the booth and participated in the sedaap treasure hunt mission at the venue had the chance to get these exclusive items. They definitely match the GenZ character that makes their appearance even cooler!
