In the kingdom of Qin, there was a slave named Xin, a war orphan. He trained with enthusiasm alongside fellow slaves who became his friends, Piao. They dreamt that one day they would become Great Generals of Heaven. However, they were forced to separate when Piao was recruited to work in the royal palace by a royal retainer.
After a fierce coup d'état, Piao returned to Xin. However, his goal was not easy until it led him to a meeting with the young Chinese King, Ying Zheng, who looked very similar to Piao. In this first season, we will be shown Xin's story as he struggles alone in his long journey to become a Great General in the Seven Warring States of history.

In this KINGDOM: SEASON 3 anime, it continues the previous story. Following the success of the Sanyou campaign, the Qin army, including 1,000 Commander Xin, is getting closer to realizing King Ying Zheng's dream of unifying China. With a major geographical foothold in the Wei state now under their control, Qin directs its gaze eastward towards the warring states.
Meanwhile, there is Li Mu, an unmatched strategic expert and the newly appointed prime minister of the Zhao state. He has taken advantage of the temporary ceasefire between Zhao and Qin to negotiate with other states without interference. Without warning, Ying Zheng receives news that armies from the Chu, Zhao, Wei, Han, Yan, and Qi states have crossed into Qin territory.
Realizing the true purpose behind Li Mu's ceasefire with Qin too late, Zheng immediately gathers his advisors to devise a plan to face the coalition forces of the six states at their doorstep. For the first time in history, the Qin state faces total destruction and must use all their resources and strategies to prevent the country from being wiped off the map.

After the end of a large-scale coalition campaign, in watching the anime series KINGDOM, China as a whole is in a state of economic recovery. The victorious state, Qin, is also in the same situation. There, the political party led by Ying Zheng and Buwei Lu continues their cold conflict. After playing the role of king in the coalition battle, Zheng gains the trust of the people.
However, Lu still refuses to give up in the battle. For 18 months, he waits and plans to disrupt Zheng's coming-of-age ceremony. Meanwhile, a Zhao army of 20,000 has set off for Qin. And due to a lack of generals capable of responding to the incoming threat, Lu cunningly suggests that Zheng take command. However, Cheng Jiao, Zheng's stepbrother, volunteers instead.
As they grow more trusting of each other during the coalition battle, Zheng now accepts Jiao as his successor. However, the Zhao army retreats after only half a day of clashes with Jiao's forces. With problems arising, internal struggles within Qin become more complicated. There are only two people whom Zheng considers reliable: Bi, a general leading 30,000 soldiers, and Xin, the leader of the Fei Xin army.
