Kapanlagi.com - Dream as high as possible, until you can't dream anymore, all that's left is reality.
This inspirational sentence emerged in the midst of a warm conversation with Ana, the owner of Thousand Sweet Dream (TSD) and Just Another Dream Inside (JADI). Since she wanted to have a culinary business, now her dream is starting to come true in the form of two home businesses located in Jakarta and Bandung.
Continuously striving to develop her business that she started since February 2020, Ana joined as a seller on ManisdanSedap.com which helps market her flagship menu. Various difficulties have come her way, but her spirit to chase her dreams can be an inspiration.
Not many have the courage like Ana to develop two culinary businesses at once, especially during the pandemic. She was confused about where to start, and inspiration came from her love for Japanese food.
"I like Japanese cuisine and started experimenting with my own recipes in the kitchen, such as dumplings, spring rolls, and potstickers. I received criticism at first, but I kept making them until almost everyone who tried them said they were delicious," she explained. Getting positive responses from people around her, she then tried to sell them to her friends and introduce her products through word of mouth.
The many dreams that Ana has inspired her to name her culinary businesses, Thousand Sweet Dream located in Jakarta and Just Another Dream Inside in Bandung. Relying on the gyoza menu, she guarantees that the ingredients used are always fresh and without preservatives, making it safe to consume for all ages.
In high demand by culinary enthusiasts, the challenge arises when she wants to make it on a larger scale, as well as providing delivery services to more distant places. "The most difficult part is not listening to the negativity and criticisms from people around about opening a culinary business, which can bring me down," she said.
For Ana, hanging her dreams as high as possible becomes her motivation in growing her two culinary businesses. "I only hope that T & J's flagship menu can travel around Indonesia, so that everyone can taste this delicious dish." If I may dream big, I want this menu to travel around the world," she hopes.
