Digitalk Fest 2023 Brings a Mission to Develop SMEs, Attended by a Series of Important Figures in the Country

This event is organized by the Bataknese Professionals Association and carries the theme 'Strengthening Creative Economy through Culture and Technological Power'. Pramella Pasaribu, a representative of the Bataknese Professionals Association, explained that the combination of culture and technology has the potential to strengthen SMEs.

Furthermore, she also mentioned that technology has successfully changed the way people work and interact. In fact, technology can create value in the creative economy. On the other hand, the diversity of cultures in Indonesia can also be an inspiration for developing the creative economy.

"This event has a profound meaning because we gather to celebrate a cultural and technological creativity that has great potential in strengthening the creative economy," said Pramella in her speech.

The event will be attended by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna H Laoly, and Director General of Immigration of the Republic of Indonesia Silmy Karim. Indonesian musician Kunto Aji and YouTuber Arief Muhammad will also be present as speakers.

Furthermore, Pramella mentioned about healthy economic growth. According to her, there needs to be cooperation between the government and the private sector to support sustainable economy.

"The government can design fiscal and monetary policies that support long-term economic growth, and become a facilitator for the development of community welfare. SMEs in the private sector create job opportunities, increase productivity to generate innovation. They also play a role in crucial capital investment for growth," explained Pramella.
