Indonesia Sends 10 Athletes to IWF World Championship Saudi Arabia 2023. Check the Complete Schedule and Streaming Link Here

Kapanlagi.com - The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) is once again hosting the world weightlifting championship this year. Saudi Arabia has been chosen as the host for the annual event to be held in Riyadh.

The IWF Saudi Arabia 2023 event itself is one of the competitions for one of the seven championships that qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. This is certainly an important competition for weightlifting athletes worldwide.

There are 1,500 athletes from 130 countries participating in this championship. Indonesia itself is sending a team consisting of 10 athletes, including Rahmat Erwin Abdullah, Eko Yuli Irawan, and Rizki Juniansyah.

Previously, Rahmat Erwin Abdullah and Eko Yuli Irawan won gold medals at the 2022 IWF event. Rahmat Erwin Abdullah won three gold medals in the 81-kilogram snatch, clean & jerk, and total lift categories. Meanwhile, Eko Yuli Irawan also won a gold medal in the 61-kilogram snatch category.
