Moshi Moshi 3 Days of Japan Festival 2023 Presents a Series of Unique Japanese Culture, Also Featuring Million Rupiah Prize Competitions!

1. Performances and Entertainment

Without having to pay an entrance fee, visitors will be welcomed by a gate with a traditional Japanese fan design and a stage complete with other Japanese ornaments decorations. Visitors are free to explore the Moshi Moshi area and hunt for various Japanese cuisine and interesting Japanese trinkets.

A total of 10 culinary booths from various tenants such as Totemo Oishi, Tokotori, Squidmore, Coin Cheese Bread, Street Mentai, and Michi Mochi are presented to allow visitors to experience the authentic taste of Japanese food. Not only that, there are also 10 booths that serve merchandise and action figures including Numeshop, Deimaru, Zenpon, Locq, Animon Store, and others that can be found by visitors in the Moshi Moshi 2023 area.

To add excitement to the Moshi Moshi 2023 event, there are also Artist Performances such as a rock electronic band performance by Heno Heno Moheji featuring Amanda Meutia on Friday, December 1, 2023. In addition, an idol group with a concept of combining Japanese Pop Idol with Electronic Dance Music (EDM), Shojo Complex, also entertains visitors on the Moshi Moshi 2023 stage on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Not to be missed, a Japanese singer of Thai nationality also performs singing the soundtrack of the Ultraman Blazar drama series, and a famous Youtuber known for covering anime songs, MindaRyn, on Sunday, December 3, 2023, as the closing of the Moshi Moshi 2023 series.

The excitement of Moshi Moshi is further enhanced by the presence of Thematic Performances such as the Japanese Harmony performance featuring Japanese songs on December 1, 2023. In addition, visitors can also interact and take photos with Japanese character cosplayers by presenting the Cosplay Live Action Inuyasha on December 2, 2023, and One Piece on December 3, 2023.

2. Parade and Competition

The excitement of this year's Moshi Moshi event is further enhanced by the Matsuri Parade, which will take place on December 2, 2023. Captivating Japanese performances will be showcased in this parade, such as Dashi, Mikoshi, Taiko Hiraido Oodaiko, Coswalk, Yosakoi, Cosplay Live Action, and Lolita or Harajuku Style, which can be witnessed by visitors in the Drop Off The Downtown Walk area.

In welcoming the great euphoria from the public, Moshi Moshi 2023 also invites the community to participate in interactive games and several competitions, such as demonstrating their voice acting skills for anime or Japanese game characters in the Seiyuu Competition, which will be held on the first day of Moshi Moshi, December 1, 2023, and a cosplay modeling competition using Japanese cartoon-style costumes called the Coswalk Competition, held in conjunction with the parade on December 2, 2023, with prizes up to 1.5 million rupiah and Summarecon Mall Bekasi shopping vouchers.

Not to be missed, the final day of Moshi Moshi will also be enlivened by the Cosplay Competition, which serves as a platform for anime fans to showcase their creativity in expressing themselves as the characters they portray.
