KLovers, do you still remember the lyrics of that song? The song was sung by Japanese comedian Kazuhiko Kosaka, or commonly known as Pikotaro, and successfully captured public attention with the video he uploaded on youtube a few years ago.

Long time no hear from him, in the midst of the corona pandemic, he has returned to make a song inviting people to wash hands to prevent corona and uploaded it through his personal youtube account, Pikotaro Official Channel.

So, what is his latest style and the lyrics of the handwashing invitation song?

1. Appear with Macan Clothing

This Japanese musician previously went viral with the song Pen Pineapple Apple Pen with a unique style that stuck to him, making the song known to many people.

In his second video, which is an invitation to wash hands to prevent corona, he still wears a yellow outfit, complete with a tiger scarf that he wears. Equally interesting, this latest video invitation to wash hands is made exactly like the viral PPAP song.

Even from the music, appearance, to the signature dance moves, he didn't change much. He only changed the lyrics.

2. Meaning of the Song

This 1 minute 29 second video shows Pikotaro giving instructions on how to properly wash hands. Amidst his dance, he also demonstrates washing hands with soap, and how to clean hands by rubbing the palms and cleaning between the fingers.  

The positive message of the song is made slightly humorous with the hope that in the midst of the corona pandemic like this, people will still remember the importance of maintaining cleanliness and washing hands.
