Romantic Drama Series from Thailand Now on Television

This series tells the story of a beautiful girl who transforms into Nakee or the Snake Goddess and has supernatural powers. She falls in love with an archaeologist, who was her lover in a previous life, but their love is hindered by many obstacles.

This series, which is the number one show in Thailand, will be aired on ANTV starting from August 14, 2023, at 09:30 AM. Kiki Zulkarnain, Chief Program & Communication Officer of ANTV, explained that the series Nakee is different from previous series.

“With the background of Thai culture and daily life of the people, combined with a romantic drama, makes Nakee different from the previous series aired on ANTV," said Kiki Zulkarnain.

It is hoped that Nakee will be the most anticipated show by the Indonesian audience. Moreover, the story presented in Nakee series is intriguing for viewers at home.

"The presence of the Nakee series this morning is expected to not only entertain the community but also strengthen ANTV in the morning slot," he said.

Nakee tells the story of Kumkaew (Natapohn Tameeruks), a beautiful girl who was born with special abilities, and Tossapol (Ken Phupoom Phongpanu), a young archaeologist who accidentally discovers the statue of the Nakee Goddess.

Since childhood, Kumkaew has been living with her mother in Dorn Mai Pa village, and unknowingly, she has been able to communicate and befriend snakes since she was a child. However, because of her abilities, Kumkaew is considered strange and is avoided by her friends.

2. Meeting Kumkaew

One day, while at the museum, Tossapol sees the statue of the Nakee Goddess and is fascinated by her beauty. Then, he and his friends are assigned a research project by their school to study the temple in Dorn Mai Pa village, where Kumkaew lives.

On the way to the location, their car breaks down, and Tossapol and the group are forced to continue on foot to their destination.

Upon arriving in the village, Tossapol and the group start preparing to study the artifacts in the Nakee Goddess temple, and accidentally, he meets Kumkaew.
