Students and Startups Must Join, Don't Forget to Participate in the 'Astranauts' Digital Innovation Competition

Kapanlagi.com - Digital innovation and technology development for students and startups in Indonesia need support. Astra is doing it by initiating the Astranauts competition. The competition, which raises the theme Inspire. Innovate. Collaborate, opens registration until July 8, 2022.

Astranauts is open to registrants who have an interest in digital innovation and technology development with five themes to choose from, namely Future of Mobility, Future of Finance, Industry 4.0, Sustainability, and Emerging Technology.

"Innovation is something that is highly developed and appreciated at Astra. This is a manifestation of the company's philosophy, Catur Dharma," said Chief of Group Digital Strategy Astra Paul Soegianto.

Astranauts aims to give birth to innovative ideas that can answer business challenges and also create closer collaboration between students, startups, and Astra. In addition, this program is also an effort to strengthen Astra's startup ecosystem and initiatives in the digital and technology fields.

"With Astranauts as a space for innovative ideas, Astra hopes to give birth to ideas that can normalize various changes, especially in digital transformation in the lives of the community and be beneficial to the nation and state," he added.

Astranauts Registration

All undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students can generate ideas, and startups in Indonesia or abroad who already have at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) can register as Astranauts participants.

Later, registrants will be selected to continue to the preliminary round. Participants who pass the preliminary round will attend an exclusive two-week mentorship session from experts in their field from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), McKinsey & Company, Accenture, Dalberg, A.T Kearney, Ernst & Young, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, GK-Plug and Play, and TopKarir.

Then the finalists will present their products at Demo Day before the jury and experts. Furthermore, there will be Astranauts Week, where participants and the general public can participate in a series of webinars, workshops, digital showcases, and career fairs. There will be a total prize of hundreds of millions of rupiah for the winners of Astranauts. Not only that, participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate and join the Astra startup community, as well as the opportunity to work together with Astra. The entire Astranauts series as an innovation space is in line with Astra's aspirations for prosperity with the nation and supporting Indonesia's Sustainable Development Goals.
