Supporting the End Plastic Waste Movement, Adidas Stan Smith Collaborates with Disney

Kapanlagi.com - Earlier this year, adidas Originals announced a new chapter for the Stan Smith silhouette, combining this iconic sneaker with recycled materials to support the "End Plastic Waste" movement. Today, adidas Originals launches a range of more sustainable Stan Smith sneakers.

This product collection features more sustainable exclusive Stan Smith silhouettes, inspired by several iconic Disney and Pixar characters, Star Wars™, and Marvel, including: Hulk (Marvel), Rex from Toy Story (Disney and Pixar), Yoda from Star Wars™, Tinker Bell from Peter Pan, WALL-E (Disney) and WALL-E (Pixar), Kermit the Frog from The Muppets, and Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. (Disney and Pixar).

1. Have Unique Details

Each product in this collection has unique details and several elements related to these characters, such as illustrative shoe soles, specific patterns, vibrant graphics, attractive colors, and additional shoelace options. All products have an upper part made of PRIMEGREEN and placed on recycled rubber shoe soles.

"The Stan Smith series will be officially available at adidas retail stores throughout Indonesia starting from April 4, 2021. 2. Show Iconic Stan Smith Heel Tab

Adidas Originals also offers a more sustainable Stan Smith sneaker, presented in its legendary silhouette. With a white recycled PRIMEGREEN upper and a white recycled rubber shoe sole, this sneaker showcases the iconic green Stan Smith heel tab.

In launching this silhouette, adidas Originals combines some of the most creative adidas figures with the iconic tennis and one of the world's most famous frog characters to address environmental issues. By featuring Stan Smith and Kermit the Frog, skater Na-Kel Smith and Nora Vasconcellos, digital architect Iddris Sandu, and actress Yara Shahidi, the multimedia campaign becomes adidas Originals' manifesto to support the "End Plastic Waste" movement.

3. Available at Several Retail Stores

The latest step taken by adidas Originals in environmental issues, together with Disney, will be exclusively launched on adidas.com/stansmith and adidas stores worldwide on March 29. After that, this product collection will be available at selected retail stores worldwide starting April 4.

The adidas Originals Stan Smith silhouette, inspired by Yoda from Star Wars™, will soon be launched on adidas.co.id and selected stores in Indonesia.
