Kyanavara's initial journey to becoming a star on Shopee Live began in August 2023. At that time, Shopee was launching the Shopee Affiliate program through live streaming. In every Shopee Live session, Kya always presents several "hero products" that are chosen according to the season, current trends, and audience relevance. For example, as the holiday approaches, products like jars and ovens become the focus because they are in high demand by consumers. However, outside of those special moments, Kya chooses to review everyday products that are indeed useful and multifunctional for her viewers.
"Not much different, if my Shopee Video has two types of content. The first is a video with a shopping cart containing product reviews, while the second, a video without a cart that is more of a couple's comedy. For product review videos, our strategy is a hard selling approach with a voice-over similar to advertisements, and editing that is visually and audibly comfortable to watch. Meanwhile, for couple comedy videos, the content created is more relatable to the audience, enriched with sound and visual editing to keep the videos engaging. The video production process includes content planning, copywriting, voice-over, video shooting, and editing. In this matter, I am also assisted by a special team.” Kyanavara added.
