Starring in the Series 'Menolak Talak', Vino G. Bastian and Marsha Timothy Forced to Be Enemies

In this series, Vino G Bastian plays the role of Alif Kodri, a young man who works as a mediator at the Religious Court. The character Arif Kodri is assigned to reconcile married couples who want to divorce.
 
"My character is a mediator at the Religious Court, while I am not married yet. This is the problem when I am not married but have to reconcile the unique and diverse marital problems of others," said Vino in a virtual interview on Friday (7/1/2021).
 
What's interesting about the series 'Menolak Talak' is that Vino acts alongside his wife, Marsha Timothy. In this series, the mother of one plays a woman who works as a lawyer.

Although acting alongside his own wife, playing the character was not easy for him. The characters played by Vino and Marsha are very different.
 
"It was difficult to act with Marsha because as husband and wife, we had to distance ourselves because here we became rivals, she as a lawyer and me as a mediator," said Vino.
 
"And we had to make our rivalry grow from the beginning, how the audience can perceive us as rivals. So when people say 'it's nice and easy to work with your wife,' it's not true because the roles are different from our daily lives," added Vino.

The series "Menolak Talak" will soon air on ANTV. In addition to Vino and Marsha, several famous actors and actresses are also involved in this soap opera, such as H. Malih, Andi Annisa Iasyah, Kiki Saputri, Aldi Taher, and senior actor Roy Marten.
 
"It may air every day, but the shooting schedule is not rushed. So the shooting process is good, everything is in accordance with health protocols," Vino concluded.
